The policeman, Okeoseye Odiah, whose four children died in the mudslide disaster in the early hours of 4:50am on Sunday 7th of Nov 2015 after mud detached from a hill in Isheri, Magodo area of Ojodu Berger Landed on the building located in Orisha, Magodo phase 1.
Mr Odiah was given N5million by the Lagos State Government. The cheque was presented on behalf of the Lagos state governor by the commissioner for special duties and inter-governmental relations, Mr Steve Oladejo. He said govt would do everything possible to look after the family, noting that the gesture would assist the family in securing accommodation.
