All Jazeera Reverses Earlier Report, "Aliko Dangote Not Part of the Hostages In Mali Hotel Seige"

Yvonne Ndege, who is a West Africa correspondent for Al Jazeera has confirmed that Aliko Dangote is safe and sound in Lagos. She made this statement via her twitter handle:


Al Jazeera had previously reported that Aliko Dangote was among the 170 people taken hostage in the attack on the iconic Radisson Hotel in the Malian capital city, Bamako.

Till now there have been no reports about the identity of the attackers and their motives.

According to Yvonne Ndege, Aliko Dangote was supposed to stay at the hotel yesterday.
